1918-1933

What conditions were present that allowed Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party to take control of Germany in 1933?
The conditions that were present in Germany that allowed Hitler and the Nazi Party to take control were many things. First, after losing World War I they were made to pay reparations (Treaty of Versailles) to all the countries that fought against them. This was very difficult for the Germans and took a lot of the countries money. Next, Hyperinflation gave difficulties to Germany and money was worth nothing! Since the money was worth nothing the children would play with the money as if they were bricks/blocks! The world was experiencing a depression and this really effected Germany as well. With the depression and reprations this was too much for germany to take on. Lastly, because of the economic people in Germany couldn't work because they didn't have any money to pay (unemployed). These conditions were just what Hitler needed to make his rise to power. If Hitler could make Germany strong as a Nation, not pay for the war damages, get the Germany Economy going and give everybody jobs the people would be happy and make it easy for him to take power. This is what Adolf Hitler did.
